How We Research and Review Payment Information

This page explains where our information comes from, how we decide what counts as verified, how comparison scores work, how often we re-check details, how we handle corrections, and how we make money. If something on this site does not meet these standards, we want to know.

Our Information Sources

We rank sources by reliability and use the highest-ranked source available for each claim.

  1. Official bank documents. Ryt Bank’s terms and conditions, fees and limits, and campaign terms published on rytbank.my.
  2. Official operator terms. Casino terms, promotion rules and payment pages published by the operator itself.
  3. Government and regulatory sources. For example Bank Negara Malaysia’s register of licensed institutions and Malaysian legislation.
  4. Documented first-hand observations. Only where we have actually performed and recorded a check.
  5. Reputable independent reporting. Used for context, never as the only basis for financial or legal claims.

We do not rely on unverified affiliate blogs or forum posts as evidence for banking or legal statements.

How We Classify Every Claim

Verified fact

Supported by a current official document, operator term, licensing record or documented check, with the source linked where possible.

Editorial assessment

Our own interpretation against named criteria, presented as our view.

Unverified information

Supplied data without sufficient support, clearly labelled, for example “supplied” or “not confirmed”.

Operator Verification Procedure

Before we show casino details, we aim to check operator identity, published licensing information, current bonus conditions, minimum deposits, wagering and maximum-bet rules, payment methods, withdrawal conditions, KYC requirements, destination URLs and jurisdictional restrictions. Where we have not yet completed a check, the field is labelled accordingly. The bonus, wagering and minimum-deposit figures currently shown in our comparison are supplied editorial inputs, not verified operator terms.

Payment compatibility labels

  • Confirmed: supported by current, reliable first-party evidence.
  • Not confirmed: no adequate evidence of acceptance.
  • Restricted: a documented restriction applies.
  • Information unavailable: current details cannot be established.

A casino listing “bank transfer”, e-wallets or Visa is never enough for us to call it compatible with a specific bank.

Testing

We have not carried out live deposit or withdrawal tests with any operator, and we do not claim to have done so. If we perform tests in future, we will describe what was tested, when, and the result.

Comparison Methodology

Casino platforms are assessed against six weighted categories:

CategoryWeight
Payment information transparency25%
Withdrawal policy clarity20%
Published licensing and operator information20%
Bonus terms transparency15%
Mobile usability and accessibility10%
Support information and responsiveness10%

Scores are shown out of 10 and labelled as supplied editorial inputs until our recorded evidence fully supports them. We recalculate a score when our documented checks justify a change. We do not convert scores into star ratings or structured review ratings, and we never publish invented review counts.

Update Dates and Re-checks

Pages show a “Last checked” date. We change it only after a meaningful re-check or content revision, not as cosmetic freshness. Time-sensitive details, such as fees, limits, promotions and payment methods, are reviewed regularly, and immediately when we learn of a change.

Corrections Policy

If we get something wrong, we fix it. Send corrections through our contact page, ideally with a link to the source. We verify the report, update the page, and change the date where the correction is substantive. Significant corrections to payment or legal information are noted on the page.

Affiliate Disclosure and Conflicts of Interest

This website may receive compensation from certain outbound links. Commercial relationships do not change our published evaluation criteria. Outbound links to operators are marked as sponsored. The order of casinos in our comparison follows the scores published with them. Commercial relationships may exist with operators we list, and readers should treat our comparison with that in mind. We do not accept payment from Ryt Bank and have no commercial relationship with it.

Legal and Responsible Gambling Standards

We do not describe online gambling as legal in Malaysia, we avoid pressure or urgency, and we never suggest gambling as a source of income. Responsible gambling information is linked from every page. Learn more about our editorial team or return to the homepage payment guide.
